So often we see products in our industry advertised as ‘guilt free’, illustrating just how problematic concepts around food and health can be. What is it that inspires ‘guilt’ around what we eat? Guilt is the result of doing something that goes against what we believe to be right, in this case about diet and food. These beliefs are usually around - is it healthy? (according to whatever our current concept of the term is) - is it sustainable, is it good for the planet?
If we’re clear that both answers are yes, we feel good. We feel no guilt. Perhaps we even feel virtuous.
The problem with this picture lies in the beliefs themselves. Where do they come from?
There are a lot of people adamant about what you should eat and why, many of them contradicting each other. If you try and sort through all of these opinions, you can drive yourself crazy. That’s not to say there isn’t a bunch of great information out there to help you become conscious about the why’s and wherefores of the different options but...your choice of what’s right for you has to come from somewhere else. Somewhere much closer to home.
The answer? Listening to your own body and your own inner sense of right and wrong. Learning to hear your body’s guidance and being conscious of the impact that your choices create.
This is something we’ve been interested in for a while and led us to great transformations once we began to put it into practice. The more you practice listening to your own guidance, the better you get at it – and sometimes what you need may not conform to what you’ve been told by other people.
That said, the more committed we become to conscious living, the more complicated good choices become when “business-as-usual” is interrupted. You may be traveling, eating away from home or simply just caught off-guard…so you get really hungry and end up eating something your body doesn’t feel good about.
This made us ask ourselves – when does this happen most often? Breakfasts can get really repetitive and boring, or else consist of unsatisfactory choices. Snacking is a mine-field – sometimes we want something sweet, sometimes savoury.
Considering this, we decided to create a breakfast and snack offering that is diverse, adaptable and suitable for all sorts of peoples’ diets. Three simple concepts drove our decisions:
1 – food should be functional
2 – food should be enjoyable
3 – we’re all different
We started by researching the needs of our community, alongside the nutritional profile of the different ingredients available to us. It started to become clear that we had the makings of three distinct ranges:
Clusters – an update of our original range, comprised of Activated Buckinis blended with a variety of sweetened superfood combinations as a good all-around base in three varieties – Deluxe, Chocolate and Caramelised. Although still low GI and with a broad nutritional profile, these definitely have something of a ‘luxurious’ feel to them!
Cereals – these two varieties are a more simple approach. Think of these as your ‘everyday’ varieties. Pure and fresh with a broad no-nonsense appeal, great for brightening things up with a healthy dose of coconut, flax seed and chia. The Berry & Cacao variety contains no added nuts and the Nut & Seed version is fructose free.
Paleo Mixes – a bit of a departure from the others, these are vegan (of course) and don’t contain any buckwheat. They come in two flavours – Berry & Choc and Protein Power. Inspired by the concept of ancestral diets, both are high in healthy fats, low in carbs and contain a decent amount of protein – over 10 grams per serve in the Protein Power variety, which is also fructose free.
As with all of our products, we are committed to keeping the range fully vegan. If you want to read more, here’s our popular blog post from about two years back on different diets amongst our staff and customers - Clean, Paleo, Raw, Vegan: Fads, Fears and Facts.
Another important element is keeping our buckwheat as close to its natural state as possible, making more of the nutrients available to your body. Unlike other breakfast cereals that use extrusion (a process which may extensively destroy their nutrients), we activate our ingredients. Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
Now we have a variety of options - whether we need a handful of snacky wholefoods, a sprinkled addition to brighten up an old favourite, or a last minute breakfast…we’ve got all the bases covered!

Activation is a key process used to "wake up" seeds and nuts to release their essential nutrients and to allow our body to absorb the most out of them.
I try and limit the amount of sugar I consume but I'm loving the buckini's seed and nut mix sprinkled over my oats with banana and natural yogurt.
Activation of nuts ensures full absorption of nutrients otherwise inhibited by natural enzymes.
The chocolate range is calling my tastebuds, as a recent vegan I'm missing my chocolate but loving how good i feel after raw chocolate. Plus, who doesn't need extra some extra tryptoan (and seratonin) in their lives !
Activating nuts, seeds, grains and legumes releases enzyme inhibitors, proteins which prevent those beautiful nutrients from being absorbed into our body! Digestion is much easier, and we are able to make the most out of all we are eating (hello flat stomach hehe!).
I'd love to try the nut & seed cereal as it would have so many amazing textures and flavours in itself even before adding anything extra. It would be so nice to have something versatile, for use by itself, with chia pudding, on porridge, smoothie bowls or nana icecream!!
Activation involves soaking nuts & seeds to remove the enzyme inhibitors, thus making the nutrients more bioavailabilie to us humans. I'm superkeen to try the Paleo protein mix
Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors, making more nutrients available to your body and making them easier to digest. I would love to try the paleo protein powder mix and all the clusters sound delicious too! :)
Activation 'tricks' the seed or nut into beginning its' germination process. It creates a whole raft of extra vitamins and phytochemicals, whilst removing potentially irritating enzyme inhibitors. It also helps to remove phytic acid, which can bind to minerals and prevent their absorption. Activation creates a more nutrious, bioavailable food.
I'm currently taking myself through the GAPS diet protocol to try to fix up digestive issue, It can be hard to find ready made items that fit the bill for those times when I run out of time to prepare meals and snacks, so the Paleo Mix is exactly the thing I have been looking for!
Activation increases nutrient value by breaking down the problematic compounds, therefore enhancing digestibility. The most appealing range to my bodies needs at the moment is the Paleo Mixes, especially the Protein Power variety as they contain the perfect mix of nutrition, and also has the added bonus of being low in fructose!
Activation allows the product to stay as close to its natural state. Alowing the body to digest it easier and feed the body all the wonderful healthy enzymes. We struggle today to have these nutriants in our foods available to us as many products have preservatives or additives. Im an athlete and its important to me giving back to my body what it needs. Im always researching and looking for the closest form of natural foods for my body to enjoy.
I would love the protein powder or paleo product
Thankyou for the healthy products you provide

Loving Earth activate their nuts and seeds because 1) they are smart and 2) they are passionate about providing products that are not only super delicious but also filled to the brim with goodness and nutrients which are bio-available to the body. Loving Earth understand that the activation process is key to ensuring bio-availability, as it releases the enzyme inhibitors which are present to protect the seed until it germinates. Enzyme inhibitors interfere with digestion and absorption of nutrients. So by soaking the nut or seed it 'tricks' it into thinking it is ready to sprout, thus bringing all the goodness within to life and making it readily available to our body. And what a big difference activation has made to me personally! For years nuts and seeds were off the cards for me as my tummy strongly objected with pain and grumbling.... Until the day I discovered Loving Earth's activated scrummies - no more pain, only a delighted happy tummy, singing taste buds, and well nourished body.
The new Cluster range is particularly appealing to me at the moment.... Delightful little clusters of wholesomeness to nourish and support my body while I fight chronic Lyme Disease.
Activation makes the food more digestible by removing enzyme inhibiters from the buckwheat. It's a great way to get more nutrition from your grains, seeds, nuts and legumes as well as making them easier to digest.
The most appealing is the every-day range as it looks yum and not to sweet: I always have breakfast crises with having the same breakfast day in day out, so I can't narrow it down to one from the range!
Congrats on the new range!
Activating the ingredients is vital to maximising nutritional absorption and getting the most out of your food - it makes something healthy even healthier!
All of these new ranges look amazing and I'm so excited to try them! I always feel so much healthier after eating something that is packed full of nutrition and flavour minus the gluten and refined sugars and all of these products certainly fit the bill. So far though the Chocolate Buckinis is my favourite - it satisfies my chocolate fix while still filling my body with nutrients :)
1. Activation involves the sprouting process of various nuts, seeds and grains whereby substances that are less than desirable for the body are broken down making them easier to digest or are excreted into the liquid. This process makes the nut/seed/grain nutrient base more available to the body and thus easily digested.
2. The cereals are looking great to me at the moment, have been looking for some highly nutrious but low fructose cereals for my young family!
By activating your ingredients such as seeds, cereals, nuts and buckwheat you make nutrients more available for our bodies to absorb, as soaking them in filtered water before drying releases the enzyme inhibitors. Not to mention how much better they taste!
Right now my body is torn between the Deluxe Activated Buckinis Clusters and the Paleo Protein Powder!
I think you used activation in your new cereals to fulfil your concepts that food should be functional, enjoyable and that everyone is different. Since activation removes the enzyme inhibitors in seeds and grains and make the nutrients more available for our bodies to absorb, by activating the cereals you are making them more functional, as our bodies will be able to use the nutrients more easily. I prefer the taste and texture of activated nuts and seeds (and I think other people do too) so this would make the cereals more enjoyable for customers. Plus the added benefit of making their bodies feel good which is always enjoyable! And finally since everyone is different, you want your products to have a board range of appeal to customers. Many people love the benefits of activation so would buy them for this reason, activation isn't bad for anyone (as far as I have read!) so wouldn't stop anyone from enjoying the cereals.
Right now the most appealing to me is the chocolate clusters! Sounds so yum! But that would have to be a treat I think - for everyday I think the nut and seed cereal would be the best :)
Activation deactivates the enzyme inhibitors which make hard to digest nuts and seed, furthermore enhances the bio-availability of the food
The Paleo mix Choc and Berry is quite enticing
Activating grains, nuts or seeds allows toxic substances to be released and makes it easier for your body to digest, extract and absorb the minerals, vitamins and proteins that these foods contain. Therefore I think you use activation as a key part of your new lines to get the maximum benefit out of your products. What's the point in eating something if your body gains nothing from it because it can't absorb or extract the goodness within.
I am a serious chocolate lover and I have a massive sweet tooth so your chocolate range will always be appealing to me, however I am sick of having the plain old oats for breakfast so I would really love to try your buckinis range. Being a vegetarian also makes it difficult to ensure I get enough protein during my days and I think breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and I need as much nutrition as I can to kickstart my mornings.
Activation starts the sprouting process, removing the enzyme inhibitors and making the nutrients available to nourish your body. Cereals range!
1) Loving Earth has incorporated activation in their products because it keeps food as close to its natural state as possible, therefore making more of the nutrients available to your body. Activating ingredients increases the nutrient value, breaking down the problematic compounds that help enhance digestibility.
2) I love the Buckini range, I could eat this for Breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of my life!
Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors, allowing our bodies to easily access all the nutrients! I absolutely love the look of the berry choc mix cereal. Caramelised coconut chips, berries and dark choc definitely is the only way to start the day.
Thanks for the lovely words, I'm so glad it is helpful. Thank you for sharing the love.
Thank you so much!
Activation is an ancient and a traditional practice that acts to awaken enzymes that are then able to break down and neutralize enzyme inhibitors. This method also prevents the seed from sprouting and helps to remove any phytic acid present. This is a fantastic process that ensures that our digestive systems are able to digest the buckinis easier and it also ensures that their nutrients are assimilated as the seeds are brought to life. O.M.G. loving earth ALL the products are incredible, but I would definitely have to go with the berry and cacao as I’m a fanatic about all berries, plus it has some cheeky and yummy raw cacao nibs!!! To die for!!

To release the enzyme inhibitors and ease digestion, and to make absorption of nutrients easier for the body :)
All of the new products look absolutely divine, but I got my eyes on the Berry and Cacao Cereal!
Activation is the process of soaking in water to release enzymes thus making nutrients more available / easy to digest and be used by the body.
Out of the new range the berry and cacao cereal looks delicious to me! I currently love the caramelised bukkins
Thanks
Buckwheat is activated to release the enzyme inhibitors which makes the nutrients of the seed more readily available for uptake by the body. Basically you get more goodness!
Love the sounds of the cereal range…berry + cacao specifically as chocolate for breakfast is a must as far as I'm concerned!
They're activated to deliver more nutrients to he body and become more easy to digest.
My body is feeling the paleo mix. Sounds delicious!
I just bought the chocolate ones over the weekend and they are SO good! Been eating them everyday since.
1) why we use activation as a key part of these new products
To find out that Loving Earth activates all of their nuts and seeds was a blessing. Activation is a key part of these new products as the nuts and seeds are alive. They are filled with prana (life force) as they have been soaked over night to be brought to life (as any other nut or seed that needs water to grow into a plant!) The activated nuts ans seeds are packed with enzymes which are great for digestion. Activation is vital for me as I have such a such sensitive digestive process.
2) which range is most appealing to your body right now
In this moment I would choose the Nut and Seed Cereal. I am a yoga teacher and teach early mornings classes and need a early snack that's going to give me fast, abundant and sustainable energy leaving me feeling light and bouncy. The healthy fats and oils make my skin glow. A banana sliced on top drizzled with some homemade almond or coconut milk will be a match made in heaven. The perfect morning go-to. Home made organic activated cereal is one of the most time consuming products to make so keeping a batch of your cereals with me at home and during my travels makes enjoying filing myself with goodness from the earth in my early mornings that little bit easier. Thank you Loving Earth!
Activation is utilised to assist with the sprouting process which enhances even more nutritional value of the nuts/seeds. It also gives our body a helping hand when digesting these foods, resulting a decrease in bloating (which we all dread), and an increase energy, making us feel lively to start the day!
Each and every ranges appeal to me, but I am particularly interested in either the Berry & Cacao Cereal, 0R the Caramelised Clusters. Both would be perfect for my busy mornings before school! :) xxx
Activation is used to keep the breakfast cereal close to its natural state, making the food less processed and retaining as many nutrients as possible for our bodies to absorb (which would otherwise be lost in the process). I’m most interested in the cereal mix range, as they not only look interesting but sound really tasty!
Activation ensures we are getting the maximum nutrients from our food, in this case the buckwheat, by activating the enzyme inhibitors.
They all sounds delicious, but any of the paleo mixes would best suit my diet and lifestyle needs, especially the Protein!
Activation reduces the enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid to allow for easier digestion and greater absorption of the nuts/seeds nutrients.
Right now I'm looking forward to getting home so I can devour a block of your salted caramel chocolate, the chocolates are definitely my favourite range but the buckini breakfast cereals come a close second :)
Activation is a method that is used to release the enzyme inhibitors and essentially brings the seed to life and brings even more fantastic health benefits to your body. The cereal range! As it is getting hotter and i can start tucking into some cereal again and this one looks like it will become the new favourite!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body!
i would absolutely love love love to get any of the cereals because I find mornings the time in which I need the most energy and I think I would benefit so much from eating your cereal. however clusters or paleo mix would be so amazing no matter what!! I am 16 years old and just beginning my journey to a healthier lifestyle of plant based foods! I can't wait to be a show a good example to others. I hope that one day I can change the world :)
Activation is the same as sprouting and when soaking the seeds it activates the enzyme inhibitors which brings out the nutrients allowing our bodies to absorb the nutrients.
I can't wait to try the berry and cacao clusters.
A big congratulations Melicia! You have won our new range of 7 Buckinis Cereals & Mixes + 27 chocolate bars!
We'll send you an email to organise getting you all your goodies! Yay!!
I've just discovered Loving Earth at a time when I need to make some major health changes and give me body a lot more attention. This is a real education for me and I've heard "activated" used a lot as I've scanned
Blogs and recipes trying to understand this new way of thinking about food. Your description gives me the understanding that I need - that you are "switching on" the foods by soaking them and bringing more nutrients out. I'm really keen to try the clusters as snacking is one of my potential downfalls and learning to make healthier choices like these will save me!
Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors making it easier for our bodies to absorb all the wonderful things in the food.
Right now, the paleo range is most appealing because trying to find a food to fit the high protein, low carb profile that leaves me satiated is killing my buzz. The struggle is real! I'm buying some even if I win this pack or not!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. the whole range sounds appealing to me! but the clusters sound so irresistible and full of nutrition and deliciousness!
activation is used to help our bodies activate enzyme inhibitors which will, in turn, allow our bodies to access and absorb all the nutrients we can out of the food we put in our bodies!
and I can't decide between paleo and clusters, but I'm pretty sure it's paleo!
I love all of your products by the way :)
Key part = ACTIVATION.
WHY ACTIVATE products = extrusion extracts nutrients, BUT...
Activation GALVANIZES the seeds, enzyme inhibitors are EXUDED, BOUNDLESS nutrients are AWAKENED and your body loves you, and you are LOVING EARTH!
Most mouth-watering, luxurious, delectable and wholesomely nutritious range? I mean, they say not to pick a favourite child but... did someone say chocolate! Buckini’s Chocolate Clusters, and Raw Dark Chocolate.
Nuts, seeds & of course buckwheat contain phytic acid - they need this for the germination process however our bodies are unable to digest them properly and in fact phytic acid latches onto other minerals such as iron, zinc etc blocking our bodies form absorbing them. To give our digestion a helping hand, it's important to activate first. By soaking them in water, the seeds & nuts think the moisture means it's time to grow - the phytase (activated from the moisture) in the nuts & seeds is what breaks down the phytic acid. By drying them post activation, you're basically stopping the activation procees & your nuts/seeds/buckwheat are their prime for us to digest, absorb all their goodness & enjoy :)
I'd most like to try the Paleo Mix, because I'm on the hunt for a new mid-morning snack - And something I can take overseas with my next month & eat on the road.
Activation begins the process of germination, breaking down the enzyme inhibitors. This makes the nutrients a lot more readily available and could possibly increase their nutritional value.
I really would love any of the cereals or clusters, if i had to choose one I think it would be one of the cereals because breakfast is my fav time :)
Hi there! The reason you activate your ingredients instead of using extrusion is to keep your food as close to their natural state as possible, and to remove enzyme inhibitors, which means we absorb nutrients more readily.
The range I'm craving most is the buckinis. I've always wanted to try buckinis in general, but my latest bout of a bipolar mixed episode (I was in hospital for a month) has left me too unwell to make them myself! They're filled with all sorts of nutrition and plus, it'll make my smoothie bowls on instagram look extra pretty ;) I love your products (and as a vegan I love them even more, it's hard to find a nice choc bar!) and I just know that these are going to be special! :) xx
Activation - Activation is key to all these new products as it helps to activate enzyme inhibitors to assist our body to access all the nutiance (antioxidants ect) in the 'main focus' (ingredients) of the products such as seeds berries and nuts.
They all sound yummy but I would really enjoy trying the palo mix cereal as I am looking for more protein in my diet.
I would also just like to say I love your products and what you are doing is amazing (boosting a easy yummy and enjoyable vegan lifestyle ☺️) x
You use activation to release the enzyme inhibitors which allows our bodies to more easily access all the nutrient goodies!!! Really really craving the chocolate clusters!!!! Gorgeous range of products!!!
Activation releases nutrients enzyme inhibitors from seeds when they are soaked in water which makes it much easier for us to absorb all of the nutrients. I have been trying to improve my diet and I think that the breakfast cereal will be a great way to do that without compromising on the taste.
This was a really interesting blog post! I learnt so much.
Activating releases enzymes inhibitors which allows the nutrients being absorbed a lot more easily by our bodies.
I love clusters! Amazing breakfast foods such as clusters encourages me to get out of bed so I can have the best start to every and any day.
Activation is great for releasing more enzymes which increases the nutrients and makes these foods easier to be absorbed into the body. This also allows the nutrients to better be spread throughout the body. The seeds, nuts, grains being activated allows them to be living and spreading the enzyme inhibitors to help us digest and is super healthy for our mind and body! Making for a happy me!
By activating the ingredients used in your products, the nutrients more accessible and are more easily absorbed by the body. That way customers can get more health benefits from consuming your products, due to the fact that these beneficial nutrients have been unlocked through the process of activation.
I would love to have the caramel buckini clusters in the cupboard, to add to things like smoothies, cereal and even raw treats (which I am very partial to making!)
Activation is like the sprouting of a seed - soaking it in filtered water will enable it to release enzyme inhibitors allowing the seed to come to life and make even more of its nutrients available to our body when eaten. The paleo berry and choc really sounds amazing! :) Chocolate is my one weakness and with berries it just sounds and looks delicious!!!
Activation is great for releasing more enzymes therefore increasing the nutrients and making the food easier to digest. The caramel buckinis sound the best right now ohh yessss pleaseeeee ❤️ or the protein powder omg any of your products are insanely delicious!
The activation process releases all the enzyme inhibitors, making it more accessible for our body to absorb and digest all the nutrients that are available! The Caramalised Cluster Buckinis are so appealing to me right now, because they are perfect as granola in cereal or smoothie bowl! yum!
Activating grains, nuts and seeds allows them to release enzyme inhibitors and begin their germination process. Essentially this brings them to life and makes all their nutrients more abundant for us, just how nature intended! I love the whole range but I can't go past the choccies!
Activation releases the enzyme inhibiters, allowing the food to come to life and making more of the nutrients available to your body. The cluster range sounds the best to me since the range is sweet, nutritious, and contains many superfoods which makes it perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack. It could be added on top of yoghurt, to a smoothie or used in a delicious slice.
Activation is used to release the enzyme inhibitors in food to enable more nutrients to be available and absorbed by the body. The range my body would like is the paleo mixes to assist me with low fructose living.
Activation= Happy sprouted grains!! You guys activate your grains and nuts (and all your other goodies) to release the enzyme inhibitors which release the nutrients and make sure maximum goodness is given to your body! The caramelized Buckinis sounds delicious, but so does you deluxe buckinis! Ill just have to try them all ;)
The reason you use activation in your products is because it releases enzyme inhibitors, which make the seeds even more nutritious for your body and more easily absorbed!
The range most appealing to me is the protein powder muesli would be great because I need it to help my muscles repair themselves from my elite running training! Every other product looks so good and yummy I would love the opportunity to try anything! Please....
Activation is used to release the enzyme inhibitors in food to enable more nutrients to be available and absorbed by the body. The range my body needs is the paleo mixes to assist me on my new iqs journey.
Activating the seeds and nuts in these products means our bodies can better absorb the nutrients because it gets rid of enzyme inhibitors. The most appealing range for me is the Nut and Seed cereal :)
Activation releases enzyme inhibitors which brings the food to life and makes even more nutrients available to your body. Right now the cluster range appeals most to me and sounds absolutely amazing. This range is sweet and contains many nutritious superfoods, making it perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.
Activtion is used to make us feel good on the inside - not only do activated products taste great (ahem, Buckinis...), but they've retrained their vital nutrients so they remain available to nourish our bodies.
The sprouting process removes enzyme inhibitors, which can block those tasty nutrients, while the final step, dehydrating, is done at a low temperature to preserve the nutrients and give those morsels of deliciousness (AKA buckinis, nuts and seed, etc) their crispiness.
Now - what product or range am I lusting over? Anything with a berry/choc/cacao combo has my name all over it. Tasty = yes. Good for me = you betcha. I'm a huge fan of the chocolate clusters on their own, with coconut yoghurt or sprinkled on top of a chia pudding. And while I'm not paleo, that paleo range sounds divine! But then, as a Loving Earth devotee, I'm yet to see or taste a product I haven't fallen in love with.
1. Activation ensures the buckwheat remains as close as possible to its natural state and allows us to access more nutrients as a result
2. The Clusters range is perfect for me right now!
You activate your ingredients to release the enzyme inhibitors and to make the nutrients more available to our bodies. As a teenage girl, plenty of people are trying to tell (sell, really) me what's healthy (or, what'll make me thin) and what isn't, so this article resonated with me. My body is craving some paleo protein power to start my days deliciously and power me through running, yoga and school :)
Activation releases enzyme inhibitors, and allowing the food to come to life and the nutrients to be more easily absorbed. Living food for a living body, The protein powder muesli sounds like it would make an excellent addition to my morning smoothies, maybe with some berries, cacao, spinach and strawberries, the possibilities are endless! :):)
Please....
To realise enzyme inhibitors - enzyme inhibitors are there to protect the seed until the right conditions come along and it is time to grow into a beautiful plant. But these enzymes, which are awesome at protecting seeds, can cause discomfort to human beings :) . Is it cheating if I say all your range is appealing to my body right now? Man oh man. I don't even go through a day without having at least two pieces of your mylk chocolate. Oh and start everyday with oats and cacao powder, yours of course! The chocolate buckinis are also a big weakness of mine. BIG HUGE! Can't wait to try the caramel ones though! I love the salted caramel chocolate bar! I had to start hiding them because it seems everyone in my house also has an obsession with them. So I'm sure the caramel buckinis are INSANE! Sorry...I couldn't just pick one thing! :D
Activation makes the nutrients in seeds and grains more available to the body by "unblocking" the release that would usually be partially inhibited.
The cereal range would most appeal to me as a healthy every day option plus I'm a seed and coconut addict!
Activation makes the nutrients within the grains/nuts/legumes/seeds more bioavailable.
I'm loving the look of the berry & cacao cereal mix :)
Activation is the same as sprouting. It releases all the enzyme inhibitors and helps the body to absorb the nutrients better. I would like to try the Paleo mix. Thanks in advance
1) You activate the ingredients to release their enzyme inhibitors, which allows our bodies to easily digest them, allowing for greater absorption of nutrients.
2) The Paleo - Protein Power Mix sounds divine, as a vegetarian I'm always looking for new ways to incorporate more healthy fats and protein into my diet!
P.S, Your Mint Dark Chocolate is AMAZING.
You activate the ingredients to release enzyme inhibitors - this helps us digest the seeds more easily, enabling more nutrient absorption! I love that you do this as it makes "nutritious" ingredients even more beneficial :)
The caramel buckini clusters sound amazing for a treat, and the protein power paleo mix would be my choice for more regular enjoyment.
You activate your lovely products to release the enzyme inhibitors, brings the seeds to life and to make sure even more nutrients are available to our bodies! The ranges which appeal to me most are the clusters and cereals. I'd have them on their own with almond or coconut milk or sprinkled on top of porridge or my smoothie bowls - a yummy, sweet and nourishing vegan breakfast! I haven't yet tried them but if your chocolate is anything to go by I know they'll be divine!
You activate the ingredients to release enzyme inhibitors, making the nutrients more available to the body as we are better able to digest, then absorb!
I love that you do this as it makes "nutritious" ingredients actually worth eating!
The caramel buckini clusters sound amazing for a treat, and the protein power Paleo mix would be my choice for more regular enjoyment!
Activation is used to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
The Paleo Mix is for me as I try and avoid fructose in my diet, and I love that this range has no added cane sugar!
I'm so glad that you guys activate your seeds and nuts for us! Gosh makes so much sense to buy them already activated to get those nutrients into us. I'm a mum of two small kids I barely have time to eat my breakfast let alone activate it!
The cereal range appeals to me most atm. Quick easy and healthy everyday xx
Great Blog!
Activation (soaking) releases the enzyme inhibitors allowing our body to properly absorb all the nutirents of seeds, grains and nuts. Giving our body the best love to completely enjoy foods from the inside.
Id love to try them all!
Activating the seeds is an important part of unlocking the nutrients within the seed so that they are more available to the body when we eat them.
I'm liking the cereals range at the moment, anything that is healthy and everyday simple is just what I need at the moment.
Activation is the key to the new ranges available to allow the body to better absorb the nutrients. This is done by soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors which bring the seeds to life. The new cereal range is most appealing to me! I'm quite often rushed for breakfast & they sound like the perfect healthy option to reach for daily.
This was a really interesting blog post!
I learnt that activating releases enzymes inhibitors which weans it's even better for us.
I am loving clusters. Breakfast foods like clusters encourages me to get out of bed and not be so lazy!!
Well done loving earth, They all look delicious! Activating releases the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seed or nut to life, making it easier for our bodies to digest and get the optimum nutrients. The paleo mix protein power really appeals to me, packed full of natural protein, fats and loving earths delicious activated goodness, I'd have it straight up on its own or add some super berries for a super kick. Can't wait to make it a part of my day to day ritual
Activation is used to release enzyme exhibitors! Activating nuts, seeds, grains, etc before eating releases essential nutrients, making them much more accessible to our body. This process also enables our bodies to digest the product easier and more efficiently.
And right now, I could totally devour a whole box of cereal! Seriously, to me, sometimes there is nothing as fulfilling as a simple bowl of (almond) milk + cereal.
Great blog!
The activation process is really impirtant to release enzyme inhibitors to bring the seeds to life and make even more nutrients available to the body!
I'm looking forward to try your new Choc Paleo Mix! As a chocoholic who still wants to look after my body and fuel it with amazing food this mix sounds amazing!
Activation brings out the best in the ingredients so we can enjoy them. By soaking the seeds and cereals, it means we get to access all the nutrients they can offer. I'm really looking forward to trying out the whole range regardless. (trying hard not to sound corny) but I'm in the process of activating my life at the moment - I've got the exercise bit going, now I just have to get into a better food routine for my body -starting with the most important meal of the day. What a better incentive to make time for breakfast than the Clusters Range!
You use activation to release enzyme inhibitors to bring the seeds to life and make even more nutrients available to the body. Other processes tend to destroy the nutrients that are meant to be absorbed, but activation prevents this from happening so that the nutrition and goodness is transferred to our bodies!
Being a new mum I am struggling to find time to exercise and eat healthy as I look after an infant. I have just discovered Buckinis as I had a smoothie bowl in a healthy cafe. They were delicious and I can't wait to have more! The Paleo range appeals to me the most at the moment. :)
You use activation to maximise the nutrient availability of your ingredients. The process of activation achieves this by releasing enzyme inhibitors, thus preventing the breakdown of nutrients prior to ingestion. I would love to try the protein power as I like to feel full in the morning after my morning exercise before my long day of study.
Activation is so important to get you up and moving and buckinis contain this! Normal cereal is made with excursion and this destroys the nutrients in the seeds, but instead loving earth soaks their seeds to inhibit enzyme growth to regenerate the seeds and therefore be activated. This will allow the person eating the bukinis to get fuller, feel more energised and ultimately be more prepared to take on the day as the necessary nutrients are being absorbed from the start of the day. I really like the idea of the deluxe buckinis, but they all sound so yummy!!! Xxx
1. Activation is the process of soaking to release enzyme inhibitors :) this brings the ingredients to life and helps to increase the bioavailability of nutrients to our body.
2. I love love love the Clusters range! I am obsessed with every single raw chocolate flavour from Loving Earth, so my bias of the range is the Chocolate Activated Buckinis! I think they are meant to be eaten as a part of breakfast mixed with nut milk or yogurt, but I have just been snacking from the box and they are just sooo delicious even on its own! I also love that the ingredients are a mix of the best super foods, they are organic, raw and activated, making me feel guilt-free to have as much as I want all day!
We activate our foods because it makes them better for us and our bodies. Activating does this by making them easier to digest and allows our bodies to absorb more of the goodness that's inside them. Nuts are a fantastic healthy snack, filled with protein, healthy fats and much much more. Raw nuts contain phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that can reduce the body's ability to absorb certain nutrients properly. Eating large amounts of raw nuts can put extra pressure on your digestive system and may cause uncomfortable digestive symptoms like bloating, heaviness and nausea. So what's the answer? Activate them!
I believe that right now all of your amazing and delicious sounding products are appealing towards my body because i that they could help me feel so much better, i am in need of a change in my food intake and believe that these products (especially the salted caramel chocolate and the berry & cacao Buckinis cereal) are just what I've been looking for! i love to eat chocolate and cereal but can't find any that can make me feel good after eating and not bloated. I truly believe that your products could be the answer.
Activation is used to get rid of all the ihibitors and allow even more goodies into our amazing bodies. All done by soaking with filtered waters. Im loving the sound of Buckinis Cacao and berry. ☺☺
Activation is great for releasing the nutrients and enzyme inhibitors when seeds are soaked in water. This means that our bodies can make the most of all the nutrients that the seeds have to offer! I have changed my diet immensely in the last year; I have stopped eating things such as refined sugars and heavily processed dairy products and at first I didn't think that I would be able to eat things like chocolate again. I have loved finding new ways to enjoy what I am eating and make sure my body enjoys it too which is why the whole range sounds so appealing to me but I think I would most like to try the clusters because they sound really interesting and great for snacking!
Loving earth uses activation to allow more nutrients to be available to the body. I can't decide between the clusters - caramelized or paleo - berry and choc. I would be happy with any of these products.
Activation is used as a key part of this range as activating the buckwheat keeps it as close to its natural state as possible. The seeds are activated or sprouted to release the enzyme inhibitors and therefore making more nutrients available to the body. The entire range would be so appealing to my body because they are vegan, sound delicious and are incredibly nutritious and so good for my body! Although I think I would love the clusters range the most because if anythings chocolate or caramel and crunchy i need it!! :)
To allow the body to absorb and recieve the best nutrients available the process of activation is used. Activation is the same as sprouting and is achieved by soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzymes inhibitors.
As a busy mum rushing in the morning to get 3 little girls ready followed by school drop off and getting to the gym , caramalised BUKINIS most appeal to me, a quick fulfilling breakfast to keep me going, plus they taste delicious without feeling guilty.
You activate your ingredients to release the enzyme inhibitors and to make the nutrients more available to our bodies. As a teenage girl, plenty of people are trying to tell (sell, really) me what's healthy (or, what'll make me thin) and what isn't, so this article resonated with me. My body is craving some paleo protein power to start my days deliciously and power me through running, gym and school :)
Activation- the process of soaking and dehydration. Activation is the breakdown of enzyme inhibitors exogenously; for that when we eat the activated food, all we have to do is absorb its goodness and nutrition , and appreciate its nourishment and yumminess! Looking forward to snacking on some deluxe clusters!
Activation is so important in 'waking up' these nuts and seeds so that the nutrients are absorbed better by our bodies, after the enzyme inhibitors have been released.
I experimented with paleo for 6 months then slowly added some of my old vices back into my diet. And now realise how good paleo actually was for my body. So I'm in the process of getting back to sticking with it, or at least about 90% of the time (always room for some clusters!!) . So would love to try your Paleo range. Sounds delish!
Activation makes more nutrients available to the body...The clusters is what my body is craving right now, the Caramelised Bukinis are healthy nutritious, but still feel like a real treat.
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
Never tried any activated things before. It seems it prepares the food for optimal absorption into the body. Keen to try the buckinis. Sound so interesting!
Activating nuts and seeds releases the enzyme inhibitors to make them more nutritious and also easier to digest. It brings the seeds to life! I think of seeds as little packages that when sprouted, what's inside the package is let free for the seed to achieve its full potential and nutrition. There is so much life and goodness inside the little tiny package!
I absolutely love all Loving Earth products as its my FAVOURITE brand in the whole world! I am a chocolate LOVER so I am so thankful for a healthy way to treat myself! I would love a bowl of the chocolate Buckinis right now- anything chocolate for me!!
Loving Earth uses activation as a key part of these new products because activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. You wish do this to maximise the goodness received from these grains to every human that consumes them, making the most of the gifts that mother earth has given us.
All ranges appeal to my body right now! If I had to choose one, it would be the Protein Power Paleo mix because I've never found a cereal which does not contain fructose! Also, this range would support my need for protein as I transition into veganism.
:)
While I could go into the science of activation, put simply it is CPR for nuts, grains and legumes, transforming them from a dead to a live food which improves nutrient absorption. The deluxe clusters have my name written all over them. Get in my belly!
Activation is used so the body can absorb as many nutrients as possible! This is done by releasing the enzyme inhibitors and awakening the goodness! My body is craving the clusters l as they are great as a snack or on top of vegan yoghurt! Even my non vegan friends love it!
Why shouldn't the food we eat be delicious and nutritious!? By Using sprouting or activation it's ensuring that the benefits from the ground are passed into our bodies and not lost! I have a love hate relationship with breakfast cereal but it looks like I have found the one in berry and caco :)
Activation is the process of soaking nuts and seeds to release enzyme inhibitors, allowing the nutrients to be more readily available for our bodies to use. The thought of the delux choc and caramelised clusters in my favourite cereal bowl is making my mouth water!
Activating nuts/seeds/grains in simple terms means making them alive! By activating these sprouted foods, they deactivate the enzyme inhibitors, aid digestion and allow them to become more nutritious and delicious!
The cereal range appeals to me the most because, to be honest who doesn't love a good breakfast? The berry and cacao variety as well as the whole Loving Earth range are sustainable, healthy and fair, what's not to love?
Loving earth uses activation to allow more nutrients to be available to the body. I can't decide between the clusters - caramelised or paleo - berry and choc.
1. You guys decided to adopt the fabulous idea of activation in your products to make the enzymes in the food more easily digested to the body, enable more nutrients to be delivered and in order to not damage or kill any essential enzymes or nutrients- a very good idea for the human body.
2. I have a really bad sweet craving right now so I would looooveee some of your Chocolate Clusters omg pleaseeeee!!! And the savoury paleo mix sounds lovely as a snack also.
Good luck to everyone and thanks for hosting such amazing competitions guys ! :)
Breakfast is my most favorite meal of the day and also the most important. It allows me to fuel my body for any hectic day that may be in store for me. Through the use of activation it allows enzymes to be realised that help my body to absorb much needed nutrients into my body as well as aid digestion. Which keeps my body happy and feeling healthy every day. Being a coeliac it is hard to find good tasting cereals that are both yummy and good for you that taste good on top of yoghurt, cereals, nicecream or even just by themselves. I have already tried a numer of your products including the original and the chocolate buckinis and am also very excited about trying all of these new products. I am most excited about trying the berry chocolate paleo mix as it is a great combination that tastes great and is a favourite of mine. Winning this would not only make me happy but also my body.
You use activation as a key part of your products to enable more nutrients to be available to our bodies, by releasing the enzyme inhibitors to bring the seeds to life.
I'm quite impressed with your breakfast products (have already tried a few :), but since I'm quite good and consistent with creating healthy and balanced breakfasts I'm really interested in your huge range of chocolate bars. I've been a chocoholic since I can remember, and can't resist a piece or block here and there. So with a more nutritious and guilt-free option, I feel like my eating life is now complete :)
Activation- is the key to getting the most nutrition out of the things we eat! By removing the enzyme inhibitors our bodies can freely absorb all the good bits! Whilst other cereals market themselves as easily digestible- this simply means the foods are so processed all the nutrition is already gone! Am so excited at the addition of a paleo/high protein range! It's so hard to get enough protein in at breakfast time so would love to try this!! Thank you xx
I could so go the chocolate clusters right now! cause I am in snack mode, but they all appeal to me as I like variety for breakfast. Activating them just makes them so much better as the seeds release their enzymes making more nutrients available to us, they are alive and full of goodness. What a great way to start the day!
Activated grains and seeds have been freed of their enzyme inhibitors, meaning their nutritional contents is more readily available for consumption - an important element in creating a healthy, functional breakfast cereal. Functional is exactly what my body needs at the moment: nutrition, convenience and flavour, which is why I'd love the cereals range!
Soaking brings nuts and seed back to life. Just the same as when you plant them in the ground and give them some love and water them. Soaking allows all of the nutrients available in the nut/seed to be taken up by the body, maximising the amount of nutrition available to us.
I would most like to try any of the new buckinis. I am gluten intolerant and have been a long time fan of the deluxe buckinis. Thanks Loving Earth for such a marvellous comp!
Activation soaks the seeds in filtered water for a stronger abundance of nutrients. This happens as enzyme inhibitors are released when the seeds are soaked. Ultimate nutrients for the body! My body is currently craving The Loving Earth's cereal range, especially in Berry and Cacao!
1) Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors allowing the body to better absorb all the nutrients now easily available.
2) I'm most interest in the Cereals range as my body type likes the more everyday not as sweet or changed breakfasts most. Liking the sound of the Nut and seed one in particular although am loving cacao lately so cacao and berry would be good to.
Activation is the key to the new ranges available to allow the body to absorb more nutrients. This is done by soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors which bring the seeds to life. The new cereal range is most appealing to me! I'm quite often rushed for breakfast & they sound like the perfect healthy option to reach for daily.
Activation brings our food to life. It makes your products pack an even more powerful nutritional punch.
I am excited for the new Vegan range as I have had to make some dietary changes lately & these will make a perfect breakfast option (and something new & exciting!)
Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day and the most important, it allows me to fuel my body for any hectic day that may be in store for me. Through the process of activation it allows nutrients to be easily absorbed into my body and aids digestion to help my body take in all the yummy, delicious healthy nutrients that i need to start my day much more easier which is great when i have busy work and uni days.
I am most excited about trying the berry and cacao cereal as this is my favourite combination and sounds yummy and delicious. And also being coeliac it's great to find such amazing products available in such great flavour combinations. I am also loving your original buckinis and also the chocolate flavoured one.
Activation (by soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors) brings the seeds to life and makes even more nutrients available for the body.
I really love the sound of the Chocolate Cluster Buckinis - with fresh berries, banana snd almond milk it would be my ideal breakfast!
Nuts, seeds, grains & legumes need activation! Why? Activation gives these living foods the push they need to make their nutritional value beneficial to our bodies! Not only does it allow us to absorb all the nutrients, it improves digestion, reducing that sluggish feeling! But there's more.. The phytates found in plant foods can make minerals less available to us, however, through activation we make it possible for these minerals to be absorbed by our bodies. Without this activation the incredible nutrition that these foods hold is lost.
I personally love all the buckinis clusters! Apart from the obvious of being super yummy, they go great with anything and everything! A true staple in my books!
I'm studying nutrition so I completely understand why you activate your ingredients - it not only makes it easier for the body to digest them, but it allows the nutrients to be more readily available for use in the body, meaning you can really utilise all of them. I personally think this is so important as it makes your cereals so much more nutrient dense instead of calorie dense like so many other cereals. Also, because your grains aren't processed like most other cereals, it makes it much lower GI as the whole grain is still used, and because the nutrients are more readily available, it'll give you a kick of energy while making you feel fuller for longer in the morning.
I'd love to try the clusters or cereal range as I'm in a bit of a slump at the moment when it comes to healthy breakfasts that I can have quickly or on the go for uni or work, and that I can snack on throughout the day. I've also been struggling to fit really nutrient dense foods into my diet with my busy schedule so this is right up my alley.
I've been having a lot of digestive troubles lately so I think it would be good for me to try something new - let's be real here even if I don't win anything I'm still going to end up buying it all - it all looks great!! Well done on the new products guys I love what you do ☺️
Enzyme inhibitors found in nuts and seeds can interfere with the body's ability to absorb protein and important nutrients from these delicious little morsels. Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors increasing the nutritional content and making them easier for the body to digest. Having just given birth to my baby daughter, my body is looking forward to trying out the Paleo Mix- hoping a good dose of healthy fats and protein will aid my recovery and ensure that my new bub receives all the nutrition she needs each time i feed her. Healthy mum = healthy, happy baby :)
Activate to make sure your body can access the good stuff, release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. The frustose free Protein Paleo Mix is top of my list to try!
Activating grains, nuts and seeds allows them to release enzyme inhibitors and begin their germination process. Essentially this brings them to life and makes all their nutrients more abundant for us, just how nature intended! I love the entire range but can't go past the choccies!
1. Activation brings the seeds to life which makes even more nutrients available to our bodies. Woohoo!
2. My body loves the chocolate activated buckinis, so the clusters are sounding really good for it right now! :)
Soaking and rinsing and then dehydrating your ingredients removes enzyme inhibitors to make the ingredients more bioavalive for better nutrient absorption.
The cereals would be more suitable for me right now because I've added a little more healthy fats into my diet as I've had improved skin since doing so. I consume lots of buckinis in raw desserts and for breakfast daily so I'd love to try the cereals for a change :)
1. Activation is used to release enzyme inhibitors which bring the seeds to life! This makes the activated ingredients even more nutritious to the body! It helps the body absorb and digest all the healthy stuff that keep you going!
2. I am very tempted to order a big bundle of the berry choc Paleo mix! but all of them look so yummy so its a hard choice! Its a nice vegan treat for my tummy! I'm so excited that it ticks all the boxes; vegan, gluten free and jam packed with yummy superfoods and gives me a good dose of protein!
1) Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. Berry & Choc Paleo mix sounds heavenly good to me and will give me the health start to the day compared to a sugar filled cereal. Thank you loving earth for creating breakast options that are good for you!
Activation releases all the available nutrients in food and makes it even healthier and easier to absorb. Clusters are the range I'm drawn to at the moment..who doesn't love a chunky sweet handful of crunch!
Activation is used as a key part of this range as activating the buckwheat keeps it as close to its natural state as possible. The seeds are activated or sprouted to release the enzyme inhibitors and therefore making more nutrients available to the body. The entire range would be so appealing to my body because it is vegan, sounds delicious and is incredibly nutritious but I think I would love the clusters range the most because if anything's chocolate or caramel and crunchy I need to try it! :)
Activation increases the bio-availability of nutrients for your body to use. I love the Clusters range - what girl doesn't love a bit of luxury!
Activation is the key, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
I would love to try the paleo blends choc berry sounds yummmm
Activation is used to release enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
The paleo mix protein powder sounds perfect for me as I run a lot and am training for my next half marathon. They all look super amazing though!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. I activate my own nuts & seeds & they digest so much better!!
I honestly can't choose from the new range! They all sound absolutely delish! Your bunkinis have been a life changer for me, making my breakfasts amazing! Love, love, love them! (Love your raw Choc too)!! Thanks for such amazing products!!!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
My body needs Paleo before going to Bali for a holiday!
Loving Earth use activation to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
Your new chocolate range is most appealing, although I was devastated that the sour cherry was not continued, I have so far tried the raspberry and hazelnut and am loving the new recipe and flavours that I have tried so far, I would love to try more of the Loving Earth range.
The activation process of nuts, seeds or grains releases enzyme inhibitors which makes more of the nutrients available to the body. I am really looking forward to trying the caramelised buckinis.
Activation is like the sprouting of a seed - soaking it in water order to release the enzyme inhibitors which will give the body access to even more nutrients. Not only is it something physical but can be applied mentally with food and with yourself as you open yourself to life and to what the world has to offer.
The berry choc mix sounds deliciously fabulous!!! I love to snack on those kind
A) Activation is the process whereby, through soaking in filtered water, nuts & seeds are transformed into a more easily digested and more nutritionally dense state. It increases bioavailability.
B) The Cluster range is most appealing to me at the moment. Being just 10 weeks post partum, I am currently very tired looking after a newborn & two other kids, so anything with superfoods is appealing. And I know the kids would love it too, which is always a bonus!!
You use activation to release enzyme inhibitors which awakens the nutrients for maximum nutrition absorbtion.
The cereal range suits me best right now for a quick simple brekky when I don't have time to make a meal (most days!) Also for adding to my own recipes of bliss balls, muesli slices and smoothie bowls. Yum!
Activation is used to make make the nutrients in the grains/seeds more available to us.
I'd love to try the cereal. I'm so over my breakfast options.
I've done a little research and activating means that it takes out the bad stuff in the nuts and seeds... Those enzyme inhibitors can make digestion more difficult for us. Usually nuts are full of enzyme inhibitors that prevent them from sprouting in dry conditions. So if you soak them, you can fool the nut into starting to sprout - which is good because the sprouted form has nutrients that are more easily absorbed.
This means more of the good stuff in the nut is used by our bodies! I suffer from IBS which is becoming more acceptable to talk about these days and the LOW FODMAP diet is a lot more common but is different depending on the persons tolerances, which is why your Loving Earth Nuts and Seeds Mix appeals to me specifically for the No Fructose content - healthy mix, happy gut! <3
Activation is used to "unlock" the nutrients in the seeds, in turn making them more available to the bodies cells so that we get the most benefit from them. As opposed to other processes which actually destroy the nutrients!
I'm liking the cereals range...something that is healthy and everyday simple to get me going in the morning is my kind of breakfast
I am so so so excited about your new cereal range!!! The clusters have really really made my day i cant wait to try them! :) im so so glad that you ensure all the nuts and seeds are activated in your products! I can tell you my body definetly appreciates the fact that they are so much easier to digest! Plus the fact that my tummy can absorb all the nutritional goodies in an extreamly yummy product is fabulous!its going to be so hard to resist these beauties once they make it to my pantry hahs im lookinv forward to it! Thankyou!!
Activation releases enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds, nuts and grains to life and making more nutrients available to the body. As I understand it, this makes nutrients more readily available to absorb into the body. I'd love the cereal blend right now as a compliment to how we eat at our house. All ingredients included are an important part of how we already nourish ourselves .. if I had to choose of the two it would be the nut and seed as it's low in fructose. I love the loving earth ethos, products and abundant info for well being you share .. as well as opportunities lije this for your community of customers to take part in .. thank you loving earth!!
Activation is the soaking or sprouting of seeds and nuts to release the inhibitors that prevent your body from accessing all the nutrients in them, in this case buckwheat. These same inhibitors also make nuts and seeds harder to digest. So activation is a really great way to get the most of nuts and seeds! Clusters appeal to me, as I am a total fiend when it comes to snacking on something crunchy! Love your stuff guys xx
Activation releases enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life! This gives our bodies the best possible chance to absorb and utilise all the amazing benefits of the food! The clusters are currently appealing to my body, I've been craving crunchy delicious-ness with fruit every day this past week!
Activation brings out the best in the seeds and grains. More vitamins and minerals are available for the body!
I would love to try the clusters because I love a bit of crunch and they all sound delicious!!
Activation makes nutrients easier for our bodies to digest. Right now I'm feeling that the paleo cereals would be best for my body. #activateyourday
Activation awakens the buckwheat making them more nutritious and easier to digest.
After reading your post I am dreaming of your clusters, on chia pudding, on yoghurt or a sneaky handful as an after dinner treat! Speaking of after dinner treat, my sister gave me some of your new chocolates as an early birthday present, I think it's time to try them!
To quote you "Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body."
Basically it is super key important to get the ultimate benefits from your food :)
And I am totally into your caramelised clusters. I love this option as it's simple and easy to pair with a variety of other foods.
Your cereals sound amazing!
Activating the ingredients allows your body to digest the nutrients from the foods more easily without the enzyme inhibitors getting in the way.
And the Nut & Seed cereal mix sounds like what I have been searching for since dropping gluten and sugar from my diet x
Activation is when you soak seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, which brings the seeds to life and enables your body to utilise more of the available nutrients in the seeds.
For me the chocolate clusters are the best way to curb my afternoon sweet craving
activation is used so the maximum amount of nutrients are available to our bodies by bringing them to life through the process of soaking them in filtered water, releasing the enzyme inhibitors. Right now the cereal range stands out and excites me, especially the berry and cacao! As it can provide me with a healthy and superfood packed breakfast and a delicious one too of course!
Activation brings food back to life so it can release all its goodies! It makes it easier for our bodies to soak it all up. Activation is basically unlocking the teeny tiny door on each seed or grain so the good stuff can come out and play.
The paleo range- berry and choc sounds too good to be true!
Guuuuyyyyss. These look bleeping delicious!
The activation is all about removing enzymes inhibitors and making nutrients more bioavalable by sprouting.
As for the range my body is feeling right now, I've summed it up in a terrible, terrible haiku:
Yes, it's challenging
To look past the paleo
And the clusters range
But the cereals
Are loudly calling my name
And I must answer.
Thanks 5-7-5 and no need to rhyme!
I love to snack on those kind of things! And have them for breakfast too!
Activation is used as it releases the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
The Paleo Mix is for me, as I try to avoid fructose as much as possible and love that it has no added cane sugar.
Activating is used to release enzyme inhibiters which give our bodies even more nutrients to absorb.
The caramelised buckinis appeal to me most but all the products look amazing!
Activation is an important key to your cereals, as it is what helps the body absorb as many nutrients as possible from the super ingredients used! I am super excited to try the clusters as they sound delicious not only as a breakfast cereal but desert too!
Activation is a great way to release enzyme inhibitors therefore making all your nuts and seeds come 'alive' with their full nutrition profile available so that your body can feel 'alive' too . I am totally into intuitive eating as a philosophy and Buckinis sound like a divine snack to me because I love crunchy things.
Activation is incredibly important in allowing our bodies to get the most out of our food. By soaking nuts and seeds in filtered water, enzyme inhibitors are released and more nutrients are consequently available in digestion. Activated food allows us to nourish and treat our bodies like they should be!
The range I find most appealing currently is the cereal range. Breakfast is so incredibly important in getting the most out of everyday. By treating ourselves to a meal when we wake, we essentially kickstart our body into a busy day and start the digestion process. Cereal is an easy, nourishing and fuel-filled option for breakfast, and when coupled with fruit accessories is a pretty way to start the day!
The new cereal range sounds absolutely fantastic and exactly what my body needs right now! As a gluten-free vegan it's almost impossible to prepare breakfast quickly without caving in to unhealthy, processed cereals. Your new range seems stress free when combined with nut mylk and a big fat smile, and a little lighter than the pre-existing buckini clusters. Don't get me wrong, I love to indulge on them every now and then but I need something fresher and more suitable as a daily grab and go. I love love love that the nuts, seeds and buckwheat are activated making it easier on my digestive system after removing the phytic acid without compromising any nutrients. I also love that this process makes them nice and crunchy- yum!
I've done a little research and activating means that it takes out the bad stuff in the nuts and seeds. Usually nuts are full of enzyme inhibitors that prevent them from sprouting in dry conditions. So if you soak them, you can fool the nut into starting to sprout - which is good because the sprouted form has nutrients that are more easily absorbed. (Those enzyme inhibitors can make digestion more difficult for us.)
Activation is a process used to release enzyme inhibitors , creating very important nutrients for the human body. Yay! Also I would love to try the delish looking chocolate buckini clusters yummy xxx
Activating nuts, seeds and grains is such a magical process. By soaking foods we bring them back to life, helping our bodies to digest properly and unlocking incredible nutrition to be absorbed. It is an important daily practice for me in aiding my digestion, beautiful grains, seeds and nuts soaking on the window sill makes me so happy and content!
My body craves your clusters, for obvious reasons...
The process of activation uses purified water to awaken the inhibitors hidden inside the seeds, grains and nuts to open up the nutrient powers to deliver the optimum amount of health benefits available. It's also aids in providing a healthier digestive system and also, I believe, makes for a better tasting product. Thanks Loving Earth, keep up the good work! I'd love to try the clusters and paleo for sure! Delicious!
Beth.

Activation is the key to ensuring the nutrients don't get eliminated from the foods! soaking the seeds in filtered water allows the release of the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body!
Being a vegan, any of these mixes sound fabulous and I would be happy with any of them!
Love your work guys xxx
To activate them is to bring them to life and make all their wonderful nutrients available for our bodies to absorb! The caramelised clusters are so talking to me, yummo! What a great range x
Activation you ask?...You activate the ingredients. Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to the body.
I am interested in the entire range, especially the Deluxe Clusters! I am super excited about it all. I love all your products and am looking forward to trying the new ones!
activation brings food back to life so it can release all its goodies! It makes it easier for our bodies to soak it all up! Activation is basically unlocking the teeny tiny door on each seed so the good stuff can come out and play.
Paleo range - Berry and Choc sounds too good to be true!
Activation is process used to release enzyme inhibitors , creating very important nutrients available for the human body ! Yay ... Also I would love to try the chocolate buckini clusters yummy xxx
Ohhhh my I'm so excited for this !!! Such great products ... And quality !!!
1. Activations is all about keeping the buckwheat as close to its natural state as possible, making more of the nutrients available to our bodies.
2. Can't wait to try the caramelised clusters - the perfect accompaniment to my caramel latte on weekends :)

You activate your lovely products to release the enzyme inhibitors, bring the seeds to life and to make sure even more nutrients are available to our bodies!
You activate your products because you care and want us to get the amazing benefits and the utmost nutrients. By doing so our tummies are super happy and we crave more because we feel so good eating your products.
I'm a lover of raw chocolate so I'd love the berry choc but I'm also carb aware and a keto eater so the paleo mix is definitely something that caught my eye!
Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
The Cereals range is what my body needs right now as I need a filling breakfast before work and school.
Activation is essentially activating the goodness! By soaking the seeds in filtered water the enzyme inhibitors are released and, alongside your tastebuds, your tummy can be hap hap happy and can readily absorb all the available nutrients. Those clusters are looking mighty fine and I would like to inhale the entirety. Can't wait to try. :-)
Activating seeds, nuts etc allows your body to absorb the amazing nutrients from you food. Activation releases enzyme inhibitors which is extremely beneficial for your body as it actually helps you digest those nutrients more effectively Into your body. This is really important for someone like me because as a pre-professional ballerina, we need those nutrients in our body to help prevent injuries and help keep us healthy. The new Paleo protein mix is definitely appealing to me because protein is extremely important to a dancers diet. It's very appealing to me because getting protein in the morning before a day at ballet is ideal for a dancers diet. And if it's delicious ... Even more amazing!

Lovingearth uses activation to keep ingredients close to its natural state as possible, which makes more of the nutrients available to our bodies. By activating ingredients, enzyme inhibitors are released bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to the body. Right now my body would love the clusters.
Activation = how Mother Nature intended us to eat. The beauty of activation is it allows are bodies to better absorb the nutrients, for our enzymes to better interact with our food & for us to experience all the benefits of these scrumptious products.
Honestly, I can't wait to try them all (potentially all at the same time, in the same bowl) but if I had to choose.. The clusters. I love to experiment with my breakfast, and include them in my snack creations. I'm predicting a chocolate cluster 'museli' bar in my future
Loving Earth uses the activating process, which is soaking the seeds in filtered water, to release enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making more nutrients available to the body.
I am looking forward to trying the caramelised buckini clusters, as I'm a huge fan of the originals ❤️
You use activation to release enzyme inhibitors and increase the nutrient availability of grains, helping to keep the final product as natural, nutritious and alive as poasible.
Activation is The key to awaking the enzymes and giving the nutrients life. The entire new range is sending cravings straight to my soul, but the berry & cacao cereal sounds like it will make a permanent fixture to my breakfast ritual, so I am dying to try that bad boy!
Activation ensures that the enzyme inhibitors are released so nutrients are made more readily avaliable to our bodies. I love activated nuts so keen to see what this tastes like!! I would go for the pales as I am experimenting with gluten/wheat free ATM- listening to my body!!
Activating enables more of the nutrients to be available to our bodies, yay! Really looking forward to trying the clusters. Keep up the amazing work guys x
Activation allows enzymes that are key to a healthy digestive system to be released instead of destroyed during the production of the cereal. Most everyday cereals are stripped of their essential nutrients despite their 'healthy' labels.
My favourite are the caramelised buckinis as I am a sucker for all things caramel! The protein power is next on my list to test!
You use activation to release the enzyme inhibitors, which bring the seeds alive. These alive seeds then release even more nutrients into your body, so you get more from your meal. I love everything that you sell, but...the salted chocolate is looking the best ecspecially since its the only chocolate I can eat!!!!! I love your chocolate because every other chocolate makes my skin condition worse. Love your products xxxx
Activating increases the bioavailability of nutrients for the body by releasing the enzyme inhibitors via soaking in filtered water. Really liking the berry cocoa mix :)
Activation= to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
Range most appealing right now= paleo - higher protein content
1) Activation is used to release enzyme inhibitors which bring the seeds to life and make even more nutrients available to the body.
2) The Berry & Choc Paleo Mix sounds delicioius and I can treat myself in a healthy way.
Activating nuts/seeds/grains enables your body to easily absorb and digest the nutrition from your food, so now thanks to loving earth we can all enjoy delicious, nutritious and convenient products that leave our tummies smiling, our tastebuds buzzing and our energy sustained! I can't wait to try the deluxe clusters (I adored your original deluxe buckinis as did my body!) because I love super foods because they make me feel like super women and I love the convenience of a delectable, quick brekky and snack that will keep me vibrant, healthy and light though every season and every busy day on this roller coaster of life! And we only have one body so we need to take care of it and treat it with love! <3 #healthiswealth
Why do we activate our foods? It’s simple: to make them better for us. Activating does this by making them easier to digest, and by allowing our body to absorb more of the goodness that's inside of them.
Why you need to activate nuts
Raw nuts are a fantastic healthy snack, loaded with protein, healthy fats, fibre and important minerals like zinc, magnesium and calcium. However, nuts also contain natural chemicals that can interfere with the absorption of these nutrients. Raw nuts contain phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors that can reduce the body’s ability to absorb certain nutrients properly. Eating large amounts of raw nuts can put extra pressure on your digestive system and may cause uncomfortable digestive symptoms like bloating, heaviness and nausea. So what’s the answer? Activate them!
I believe that right now all of your amazing sounding products are appealing towards my body because i believe that they could help me feel so much better, i am in need of a change in my food intake and believe that these products (especially the salted caramel chocolate and the berry & cacao buckinis cereal) are just what i've been looking for! I love to eat chocolate and cereal but can't find any that can make me feel good after eating and not bloated. I truely believe that your products could be the answer.
1. Activation releases enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available for my beautiful body!
2. I love love love the sound of the Berry & Cacao Cereal - Yummo!
Loving earth uses activating practices to bring seeds/nuts back to life by soaking them in filtered water. This allows the release of enzyme inhibitors which effect the way our bodies absorb the nutrients from the foods we eat. This is crucial for someone like me who has a sensitive digestive system. The Paleo Mix - Protein Power is appealing to my body the most right now. Being super busy between working, uni studies and keeping active my body is craving good sources of protein to keep me going throughout my full schedule! Bonus that it's fructose free, something I've been limiting as of late as my body has been sending me signals to do so. Can't wait to try the new range!
Activating nuts/seeds/grains enables your body to easily absorb and digest the nutrition from your food, so now thanks to loving earth we can all enjoy delicious, nutritious and convenient products that leave our tummies smiling, our tastebuds buzzing and our energy sustaining! I cant wait to try the clusters because I love superfoods because they make me feel like superwomen and I love the convenience of a delicious, quick breaky and snack that will keep me vibrant, healthy and light through every season and every busy period of my life! #healthiswealth
A.B.S - ALWAYS BE SOAKING - This is my kitchen motto!
Soaking nuts and seeds begins the process of germination by breaking down the phytic acid and enzyme inhibitors. This process makes the nutrients readily available for our body's to absorb and increases their nutritional value! I have found this process to be very effective for me, since I often have difficulty digesting my grains, seeds, legumes and nuts.
I would love to try your range of cereals! YUM!
Activating your ingredients increases the nutrient value as it releases the enzyme inhibitors in the foods and enhances their digestibility.
All of your products are appealing to me as "variety" in a diet is one of the most important nutritional elements that I consider as it allows my body to get the nutrients it needs for my very active lifestyle.
1) You're choice of using activation is to release the enzyme inhibitors and also to release even more nutrients for the body to absorb and digest
2) CLUSTERS - All things clusters! I have started making my own yoghurt and this topped with clusters, a drizzle of raw honey and cacao nibs has been a lunch I yearn for nearly every day so clusters for me please!
I love that you use activation to 'bring the seeds to life' so that 'more nutrients are available to your body'. This is perfect for people like me who have troublesome tummies and want to enjoy cereals on a regular basis but don't want to deal with the bloating and upset that I get from other products.
The cereal range appeals to me most because I want to have not only a nutritious breakfast or snack to turn to, but I want it to be quick and easy to prepare while still being choc full of flavour. Plus, if I can get my husband to eat it without realising the good it's doing him, bonus marks!!
I have diabetes running through my family. I wince as I watch my aunt pierce her delicate skin and inject insulin into her collapsing veins. It’s scary to know that 9 Australian diabetics have their limbs amputated every day, mostly as a result of an addiction to the white crystals of sugar sitting in their kitchen cabinet. And now sugar is disguised by the pretty sounding alter egos of organic agave syrup, coconut nectar, organic barely malt and evaporated cane juice. They’re all dangerous. All addictive. And all damage our bodies slowly and silently. Processed sugar is not what the human body has evolved to consume. That’s why I choose Loving Earth’s fructose free cereal, the Paleo Protein Power cereal. It’s easy to digest because the nuts and seeds have been soaked to release their enzyme inhibitors and it gives me peace of mind that I’m doing something proactive to stop the diabetes pandemic, already destroying 1,000,000 Australian bodies.
Activation is used to make more of the nutrients available to the body by keeping it as close to its natural state as possible! This makes the product easier for the body to digest as well.
Chocolate cluster buckinis would make natural/Greek yoghurt so much more exciting in the morning!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body.
Berry & Cocoa Cereal sounds like what I crave for breakfast
A key part of the beautiful Loving Earth Products is activation, which is done to remove the the phytic acid making it harder to absorb and digest all of the gorgeous and nutritious minerals found naturally in the delicious ingredients.
Any of the Cluster range is what I am wishing was in my cupboard right now, probably the Choccie one most as you can't beat a bit of chocolate for brekkie, especially when it is so delicious and good for you. setting you up with lots of long lasting energy for a fun day ahead :-)
"Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body."
Caramel Clusters look sooo good. Can't wait to try them!
Activation is the same as sprouting – soaking the seeds in filtered water to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. I love chocolate buckinis. I have them every Saturday morning with my banana flour waffles. My favourite day of the week!
Makes the enzymes come to life and makes them better for our bodies. I would love to try any vegan ones or no dairy and gluten. Thanks!!!!
At Loving Earth you use Activation as a key part of your new products because you want to keep the ingredients as natural as possible so that we get the most out of the nutrients when consuming these delicious products! To activate your ingredients you soak them in filtrated (toxic free) water to ensure the enzyme inhibitors are released which in turn brings the seeds to life =). I was always in love with your chocolate buckinis and I would literally sit there picking out any little clusters there were. So I'd be so excited to try your new Clusters range (especially the chocolate one!). In saying that the cereal and paleo mixes look absolutely delicious too so trying them all at some point is a MUST! Thank you for this opportunity and for helping to look after our bodies =)
You use activation as a key part of the process of preparing buckinis, so that unlike some regular brekky cereals that may have had nutrients destroyed through extrusion, the quality of your cereals nutrient content is preserved and improved through the activation process. You could say these Loving Earth products give you more nutrient bang for your buckini! Right now I'm drawn to the pure and fresh cereals as they sound delicious and something I could look forward to when my two little children decide I should be up at 5am!
Soaking activates nuts and seeds by removing the phytic acid thus increasing absorption and bioavailability; less stress for our digestive system and more vitamins, minerals absorbed
I would love the Barry Choc Paleo mix....yummy!!!!
You activate the nuts and seeds for us because you want the food to be functional and good for our bodies! Looking forward to trying the Berry Choc Paleo Mix for something completely different - can't wait!!
Yas Please!
Activation is an essential process for preparing wholegrains, legumes, beans, nuts and seeds. Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors and phytates contained, which are the antinutrients that is bad to the body if consumed in high amount. By activating these food, the nutrients can then be absorbed easily by the body.
The entire range is appealing to me, but I would love to try the Buckinis Deluxe Clusters first.
Activation ensures that the nutrients of the nuts and/or seeds are enhanced! Love to try the range of Buckinis :)
By filtering nuts and seeds or 'activating' them, you are releasing more nutrients! It can also make it easier on the digestive system.
I LOVE the sound of the berry and cacao cereal- two things I adore!
Activating seeds and nuts allows our body to digest them better to reduce bloating and tummy irritaton.
I love the sound of nut and seeds or the protien power. I just love buckinis
Would love to try the Berry and Cacao flavour cereal. Activation releases the enzyme inhibitors making the food easier to digest and brings the food back to life again. BTW - love that your products are made from ethically sourced material, vegan, excellent quality and taste great. Would love to work for a company similar to yours. Keep up the amazing work!!
Activation is a key part of the new products because when the seeds are activated, the enzyme inhibitors are released into the filtered water to allow more nutrients and enzymes to be absorbed by our bodies. The new Paleo power protein mix is definitely the most appealing to my body right now because I'm trying the paleo lifestyle and need a source of extra protein to build muscle.
Activation ensures that the enzyme inhibitors are released so nutrients are made more readily available to our bodies.
Wow definitely the caramelised buckinis. I havent seen any other product in the market. Everything down from the packaging and sourcing of the box to the sweet and salty taste of the clusters, i am in heaven! I love this company and their products with a passion and am so grateful for their ideas! Go Auzzie!
You use activation because it removes inhibitors and makes more of the nutrients available for our bodies to absorb more easily, while keeping it in a natural state. I am most excited to try the cluster range, its healthy but also luxurious, 'clusters' always sounds so delicious!
Activation of nuts and seeds ensures that we obtain maximum nutrient richness from the foods, by releasing enzyme inhibitors which otherwise make it difficult for our bodies to digest.
I love the sound of your paleo mixes and, as a triathlete, the protein power in particular.
Soaking activates nuts and seeds and helps our bodies to digest them more efficiently. I would love to try the Berry Choc Paleo Mix.
Activating ensures that the nutrients of the nuts or seeds are enhanced and that any nasties are released before consumption. This enables easy digestion and as a results you are able to digest your foods without bloating or stomach ache. You are able to absorbe the nutrients easier. Making you a happy healthy you!! Simple!! Love your chocolate!
Activating the ingredients is just a way of giving the food a little push to make more of their incredible nutrition available and easier for us to absorb.
If they happen to be contained in a particular mix of scummy Nut and Seed Cereal, well that's an added bonus! This appeals to me the most with its simplicity and versatility. Definitely something I could see myself chowing down on regularly - hot or cold - or even made into a bar or muffin. I'd get a good dose of nutrients after my morning run and in turn feel good for being kind to my body.
You use activated ingredients so our bodies can get the most benefits possible even when enjoying a tasty treat. Right now my body would most like to try your lucious sounding paleo range.
Activation brings the seeds to life making even more nutrients available to your body. It is a way to wake up the seeds and get the very best out of them for your body.
I am in love with and crave your caramel buckinis at the moment. On top of my weekly acai bowl or in my daily smoothie (I have also been known to stick my hand into the bag and grab a handful!). They are so delicious and add such a yummy texture to my smoothies, an awesome treat at the bottom! I can't wait to try all of your new products. Given breakfast is such an important meal in a day, it's really important to keep it exciting and refreshing and new and HEALTHY! :)
Wow what a fantastic post - hit the nail on the head - and now you have taken your product range to the next level and are ensuring we can all provide our bodies with what they are asking for. Thank you!!
You use activation as a key part of these new products to make more nutrients available to our bodies (YUS!!) This works by breaking down the problematic compounds/ releasing the enzyme inhibitors, thus bringing the seeds to life and enhancing their digestibility.
As for 'RIGHT NOW' ... I am savouring a caramel luvju as I write this, and the fructose free Protein Power Paleo mix would be perfect to offset the gorgeous sweetness of your raw organic chocolate.... I can see my body asking for the entire range on different days and times (27 chocolate bars included!!)
Activation increases the nutrient value of nuts and seeds that are available for absorption by the body and also helps to breakdown compounds that make them difficult to digest. So not only are they better for us, but they're easier to breakdown, unlike extraction processes that can add artificial flavours and colours, and lower the nutritional value!
All three ranges sound absolutely amazing, but my gosh the Buckinis Caramelised Clusters sound go good!!!
Activating makes the goodness of nuts and seeds more digestible like waking up your insides to better food. I like the way the Buckins snap, crackle and pop in my mouth with much more wholesome goodness than the implied association.
Soaking activates enzymes in the nuts seeds so it can be easily digested an offers more nutrients to our body
Omg Berry Cacao
Love the products wish I could work for this company.!!
Activation is soo important! It allows the enzyme inhibitors to release all of the natural goodness allowing the nutrients to be absorbed by the body. I am so excited for all of these new tasty offerings from Loving Earth but the new Paleo Mix is the product that's is appealing to me, I have just been put onto an 80/20 Paleo diet from my fertility specialist.
Activation assists with releasing more nutrients for our bodies! The protein power paleo mix would suit me best right now! Anything to make me get over this horrid chest infection :(!
1) Seed and nuts are essentially asleep, waiting for the perfect conditions that will allow them to wake up!
Seeds and nuts are naturally armed with defense mechanisms such as toxins (for example phytic acid) and enzyme inhibitors. This is why activation is so important as it removes a significant part of these toxins and enzyme inhibitors to stimulate sprouting conditions. In effect, this maximises their nutritional value ensuring proper digestion and nutrient absorption into the body - conscious eating? You can say that again!
2. At the moment, the Paleo Protein Power Mix appeals to my body the most. To help support my health and exercise, I have tried countless protein powders and supplements and have not found myself entirely happy with a) the taste b) ingredients c) the way it made me feel physically. The Paleo Protein Power Mix has a great combination of super healthy fats and proteins in their natural, unadulterated state and with it also being low carb it is a win win.. (And win!). Oh and did I mention that it sounds absolutely delicious?! ...Let me continue to hide behind the guise of the Paleo Protein being 'healthy' as its main reason for the appeal!
Activating increases the bio-availability of grains, nuts and seeds by deactivating enzyme inhibitors, and beginning the sprouting process. I am particularly interested in trying the new paleo blend - it's darn hard work to make a nutritious, filling and delicious grain free breakfast that fills you up but doesn't feature eggs!
The whole activation shebang ensures that all the best bits (nutrients) from the seeds are made available to the body. When the seeds are soaked in filtered water the enzyme inhibitors are released making the goodness come to life! I'd love to try the cluster mix - maybe I could use it as a trail mix on long hikes....
Activation is used to allow enzyme inhibitors to release the natural goodness of the seeds and aid the body in both health and digestion.
I believe the paleo protein is for me! Reduced carbs mean less bloating after breakfast and added bonus of protein and healthy fats to start my day on a good note. A healthy start makes for a happy start to any day.
Activating the seeds allows for the the release of enzyme inhibitors that better allow the body to access the nutrients. All of them sound delicious, but I'd love to try the Deluxe clusters! :)
What an awesome question, "what is activation"…things like this really fascinate me as a student of naturopathy!
So activation is the soaking of a grain, nut, or seed which mimics the process that occurs in nature. The plant naturally gives up it's defence mechanisms (enzyme inhibitors) and begins a process of germination. This state of course is best for our bodies because there are no longer defences working against our uptake of the awesome nutrients found inside!
Oh and my body is definitely drawn to the berry and cacao, berries are so great this season, and coconut and flaxseeds are favourites of mine :)
Activation is a simple and fascinating process. I like to imagine bundles of little nuts and seeds sleeping, and while they sleep they protect themselves with phytic acid. Activating them using soaking in water impersonates an environment in which nuts and seeds would happily grow and sprout, this releases the phytic acid making them much friendlier for our digestive system. An awesome way to ensure we get the absolute best nutrients from these foods. My favourite has always been the chocolate buckini clusters, as a new mama I'm busting to share my love of organic and whole food with my little love. Congrats on the beautiful new range guys! C.x
Activating means bringing the dormant seed or nut to life, and releases all the natural intelligence, vitamins, and nutrients stored within. I'm also addicted to your raw chocolate!
Activation is a key part of producing your goods because it breaks down the anti-nutrients and enzymes that make digestion harder; and therefore, it makes the nutrients of the ingredients more available for the body to use and absorb. Ultimately, this means easier digestion and better absorption of the nutrients of the products!
I am loving the Paleo range, because my particular diet requires me to eat less fructose. My lifestyle also demands an adequate amount of protein intake, so this Paleo range would be perfect!
Activating means bringing the dormant seed or nut to life, and releases all the natural intelligence, vitamins, and nutrients stored within. I'm also addicted to your raw chocolate!
Activation is the process of soaking seeds in filtered water to enable the release of enzyme inhibitors that would normally be destroyed in other processes. This allows those seeds to be brought to life, which means the body gets more nutrients from those seeds. While the whole range sounds so perfect for me, as I am starting on this new journey towards good health for myself and my family, I cheekily think a little luxury goes a long way to get me through the day, so I would love to try the clusters! Yes, please!
You activate to bring out the best in the seeds and grains - just like I do at home for my pet bird - I soak/sprout his seeds and grains to bring out more vitamins and minerals and grow the nutrients a bit more. And he really whistles a happy tune! The whole range sounds great, but right now I'd really love to try the Paleo mix - sounds like a nice amount of protein, in a delicious mix, which my body is really craving!
Why is activation the key? Soaking the seeds in filtered water releases the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. Deluxe clusters for my daily fruit bowl in the morning :)
Activation ensures that the enzyme inhibitors are released so nutrients are made more readily avaliable to our bodies ! I would love to try the buckini clusters ! Congrats on the new range !
Activation is an important process if we are to be able to get the most nutrition from certain food products. By activating seeds and nuts, the enzyme inhibitors are released, bringing the seeds and nuts to life, making them more bioavailable. The Paleo Mix is most appealing to me at the moment. My family has been attempting to follow a Paleo lifestyle since October 2014 and with 4 children aged 10-1, it would be so great to have a quick, yet nutritious breakfast to offer on busy school mornings! Looks and sounds fabulous!
Well after reading the above post it is clear that you activate buckins to ensure that all the nutrients in the seeds are made available to the body. This is done by soaking the seeds in filtered water which aids the release of the enzyme inhibitors - Enzyme inhibitors can kill a pathogen or correct a metabolic imbalance (...yep, did my own research!). And the end result is a nutritious cereal, cluster or paleo mix to enjoy with breakfast, or perhaps as a snack or dessert! :)
Cheers,
Alexis
You use activation to release enzyme inhibitors to bring the seeds to life and make even more nutrients available to the body.
My body is DEFINITELY wanting Berry Choc - YUM!
Fingers crossed : )
You use activation so you don't destroy the nutrients, instead you release the enzyme inhibitors.
Clusters are appealing to my body right now
Activation is key to releasing the enzyme inhibitors in seeds, bringing them back to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. All the new products sound amazing but really looking forward to trying out the Paleo Mix! :)
Activation brings the seeds to life by releasing the enzyme inhibitors and getting them to sprout. This means you guys are making these delightful breakfast treats even better for us by loading them with even more nutrients.
I would really love to try the caramel buckninis!
I'm craving the Paleo Mix - Protein Power, tastebuds & tummy are excited by the prospect of a new mid-morning snack or breaky on the run :)
Activation is used to help foods with enzyme inhibitors become more easily digestible. This is essential to optimising the body's ability to absorb nutrients. For me, hormone health promoted by a balanced diet is essential. So my range choice would be the cereals. All those hormone-friendly ingredients to start of a healthy day has me looking forward to waking up for breakfast!
Thank goodness for Loving Earth and their activation!! The enzyme inhibitors that are released from the nuts and seeds when they are soaked help your body to absorb essential nutrients as well as aiding in digestion. Eating too many nuts and seeds that haven't been activated can make you feel sluggish, bloated and cause digestive issues - no thanks! Having suffered from fructose and gluten intolerance for some time now I'd be stoked to get my hands on some fructose-free Nut and Seed cereal from Loving Earth. Brekkie has never looked so good mmmmm!
Activating the ingredients unlocks more nutrients and makes them easily accessible to our bodies. I'm particularly interested in the paleo range.
You use activation to to allow nuts and seeds to release enzyme inhibitors , bringing seeds to life, and allowing more nutrients to be available to your body ! your new cereal range sounds absolutely amazing ! I'm already a massive fan of your vegan chocolate, and i'd love to try all the new loving earth products!!!
Activation is used to make even more nutrients available for use by the body.
My body is feeling the Paleo mix! I love anything with berry AND chocolate together plus it's vegan! Amazing!
Activation is used to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing seeds or nuts to life, making it easier for your body to get full nutrients on. The one that sounds the best to me is the Paleo range! Fits in perfectly to my current diet and what my body feels the best on. Love Loving Earth!
Activation = awakening! Activating nuts, seeds, grains etc charges them into life, releasing all their earth given goodness, which in turn allows our bodies to readily absorb all that fabulousness! Your entire range appeals to my vegan body and I would be grateful for any of it. Thankyou xx
Activation is used to release the enzyme inhibitors, to bring the seeds to life and make even more nutrients available to your body.
My body is definitely craving the Paleo protein power mix after competing a tough workout today
Loving Earth use activation to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making more nutrients available to the body.
The Paleo protein blend is the most appealing to my body and will become an integral part of my gut healing diet.
You use activation to release the enzyme inhibitors, bringing the seeds to life and making even more nutrients available to your body. The Caramelised Buckinis Clusters sound best to me because I love anything caramel-tasting!
