I developed this recipe as an experiment and it has proved to be a popular snack. These brownies are perfect for entertaining as they are very quick to make but look, and taste, like you’ve spent hours in the kitchen.
ingredients
- 1 ½ cups Activated Walnuts
- 18 pitted Medjool dates
- 1 tsp Vanilla Powder
- 1/3 cup Cacao Powder see product
- 2 tsp water
- 1 tsp Mesquite Powder see product
- ¼ tsp sea salt
method
- Step 1In a food processor, grind the walnuts and sea salt until fine.
- Step 2Add the dates and process until dough forms. Next add the Cacao Powder, Mesquite, Vanilla Powder and water until mixed well.
- Step 3Scoop out a tbsp of dough and form into a ball. Pat down into a mini brownie shape and press half a walnut on top.
