The real secret to this recipe is the inclusion of our Yellow Kale Chips. This packet contains all the spice you need to make these the best tasting falafels you have ever had, big call I know, but I am confident that you will love them!
Serves 5
ingredients
- 1 cup of Activated Walnuts
- 400g chickpeas
- 1 cup coriander
- 1 bag of Kale Chips
- 2 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp tamari
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tbsp flour (or your preferred alternative)
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cumin
method
- Step 1 :Process all ingredients in a blender until nice and smooth, you might need to scrape down the sides as you go to make sure everything is well incorporated.
- Step 2 :Place in the fridge for at least ½ an hour, keeping them in overnight is fine too!
- Step 3 :Roll into tablespoon sized balls and place on a tray lined with baking paper, sprinkle with sesame seeds and bake for approximately 20 minutes, turning once.
- Step 4 :Enjoy with a fresh crunchy salad, some roasted eggplant, olives and hummus if you have it!
