Oh yeeeah! If you are like me, then you will love this recipe. Sour punch! Granny Smith apples are in season and they go perfectly with cinnamon and Loving Earth's Sour Cherries... I know it sounds cold...'granita'...but I've seen you guys eat gelato in the middle of winter. If we're talking cold desserts, then this is by far the best thing to have during this Melbourne winter!
ingredients
- 4 granny smith apples, peeled and diced
- 5 tbsp Light Agave Nectar
- ½ cup sparkling water
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
- ¼ cup Sour Cherries, diced or whole
- 1 tsp vanilla essence or ground Vanilla Beans see product
method
- Step 11. Mix all ingredients except the sour cherries in a blender until smooth.
- Step 22. Strain through a fine sieve.
- Step 33. Line a square container with plastic wrap and pour in blended mixture. Freeze container overnight, pop frozen block out the following day, scrape with fork into a cold container.
